A little bit about me...

I am passionate about connecting with people. I love learning about people and sharing their stories. I believe that our varied differences and experiences make us collectively stronger. I also believe, if given the right tools and opportunity people and organizations can be come great. These core values are the foundation of my work.

No matter whether the medium is through the diversity & inclusion trainings, creative writing, or social entrepreneurship, my ultimate goal is help you along your journey to success.

What I do...

I facilitate trainings on Diversity & Inclusion. Currently, I am the Assistant Director of Tennessee Disability Pathfinder a program of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center (VKC) for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. I am the VKC representative for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities' Multicultural Council. Currently, I  serve as the Webinar Training Chair.

Additionally, I am social entrepreneur with an emphasis on Multicultural Arts Administration. I am the founder of Black Canvas Arts, a nonprofit artist professional development organization. I am currently matriculating a Master's of Education (M.Ed.) in Organizational Leadership and Communications at Belmont University.

My Strengths...

I used the assessment tool StrengthsFinder 2.0 to evaluate my strengths. StrengthFinder 2.0 was developed by Tom Roth, which is based on the research of the late Dr. Donald O. Clifton who is coined as "The Father of Strength-Based Psychology". Developer - I recognize and cultivate the potential in others. I love to see people grow and flourish even if the improvement seems minuscule to others.

Futuristic - I am inspired by the future and what could be. I do my best to inspire others with my visions of the future. I am always asking questions or thinking of ways to improve processes.

Relator - I enjoy building relationships with others. I find satisfaction in working hard with others to achieve a goal.

Responsibility - I take ownership of what I say I will do. I am committed to stable values such as honesty and loyalty. If you need it to get done, then I am the person who will do it.

Learner - I have a great desire to learn and want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather than the outcome, excites me.
